A former student of the Penland School in North Carolina, Mary has made her home in Montana since 1984. She is often inspired by the scenery and wildlife of Yellowstone National Park where, for several years, she volunteered for Park Visitor Services. Her weavings tell the story of the thermal areas, the deep blue hot pools, the colors of the run-off channels, the bison, and elk.
